Where Your Car Meets You
Pickup at JFK is not the same at every terminal, and one difference in particular catches people out.
Most terminals — the designated pickup area on the arrivals level.
Your chauffeur sends the exact spot once your flight is on the ground. Follow the signs for car services rather than for taxis, which go somewhere else.
Terminals 5 and 7 — the Howard Beach lot.
This is the one that surprises people. For these terminals the Port Authority directs car-service passengers onto AirTrain JFK to the Howard Beach station, where the Ride App and Car Services Lot is located. The AirTrain is free for this connection. It adds time, so allow for it, and your chauffeur will confirm before you land.
Meet and greet — $30 plus parking.
Your chauffeur parks, comes inside and meets you with a name sign. For international arrivals that means outside customs as you come through; for domestic arrivals, at baggage claim. Worth it for a first visit, for families, or when someone else is arriving and you would rather they were not working it out alone.

Waiting is measured from when the aircraft actually lands, not from your booked pickup time, so a delayed flight does not eat into it. Beyond the complimentary period, waiting is billed in fifteen-minute intervals at $1.50 per minute for a sedan, $2 for a full-size SUV and $3 for a Sprinter van. Departing From JFK
On the outbound side, the Van Wyck and the construction detours are what decide your departure time rather than the distance. We plan backwards from your flight and allow for the approach rather than the map.

Where does my driver meet me at JFK?

It is the designated pickup location for car services serving JFK Terminals 5 and 7, reached by AirTrain from the terminal. The AirTrain is free for that connection. It adds time to your exit, so allow for it.
How long will my driver wait?
Sixty minutes from landing for international arrivals and forty-five for domestic, measured from actual touchdown rather than the scheduled time. Beyond that it is billed in fifteen-minute intervals at a rate we tell you in advance.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track it and adjust the pickup automatically. A delay does not change your quoted rate and your waiting period still starts from when you actually land.
Should I book meet and greet at JFK?
For an international arrival, a first visit, or anyone travelling with children or a lot of luggage, it is usually worth the $30 plus parking. For a domestic arrival with carry-on at a quiet hour, kerbside is fine.
